Gallipoli Sisters Celebrate Friendship and Prepare for Ramadan
On 14th February, the Gallipoli Sisters came together for a day full of connection, learning, and celebration. The day began with a Galentine’s Picnic, where sisters enjoyed a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with laughter, shared stories, and quality time together. It was a beautiful opportunity for women in the community to bond, support one another, and celebrate the joy of friendship.
Following the picnic, the sisters attended the MYA Ramadan Ready Event, hosted by the Muslim Youth Association (MYA) at Gallipoli Community Hall. This evening program offered meaningful reminders and practical guidance to help prepare spiritually and mentally for the blessed month of Ramadan.
The event included Two enlightening talks with Ustadha Sahar Dandan and Shaykh Abdul Hadi Idil-Shah, Ramadan Kahoot with prizes and finished off with dinner.
This day perfectly captured the mission of the Gallipoli Sisters: fostering friendship, personal growth, and spiritual connection. By combining shared leisure, education, and preparation for Ramadan, the sisters strengthened both their community ties and their readiness for the sacred month ahead.
We thank everyone who attended and contributed to the warmth and generosity of the day, and we look forward to hosting more inspiring gatherings in the future.
